Pure Carbs by Gen-Tec Nutrition

After a gruelling session, your body gets depleted from glycogen. When you train the main fuel source is muscle glycogen, which is composed of long strings of glucose molecules. The glucose will break from the glycogen chain as needed when exercising in order to generate ATP.

So what does carbohydrate do?

Carbohydrates give the body the energy needed to get you through a hard session. When it’s ingested carbs are broken down into simple sugar (glucose and fructose), which will then be absorbed in the bloodstream for energy. Some of this sugar is then converted into glycogen, and it’s stored in the liver.

Liver glycogen is converted back into glucose in between meals to be used as an energy supply. After a strenuous gym session, that glycogen that was stored gets depleted.

Gen-Tec Nutrition has crafted the perfect supplement to be added to your shaker. Pure Carbs by Gen-Tec has the combination of time-release carbohydrates and chromium picolinate.

If you are aiming for weight gain, add Pure Carbs to your protein powder and consume 2 to 3 times per day. Athletes can also have it immediately after exercise.
